VEN PETROCHEM & PHARMA (INDIA) PVT LTD is a professionally managed private limited pharmaceutical company, incorporated and registered, with Registrars of Companies, Bombay, India on the 27th of July, 1982.

Ever since it was promoted in 1982, VPCP's path to success has been arduous, but the dynamism and foresightedness of its TEAM has enabled it to carve a niche of its own in the local and international market.

VPCP has consistently recorded high growth rates every year. It has established and attained global status as a progressive, professionally managed, major healthcare company.

To-day, we have the distinction of being one of the major producers and exporters of BROMHEXINE HYDROCHLORIDE, TIMOLOL MALEATE and AMBROXOL HYDROCHLORIDE and also your most competitive source for the same, within India as well as overseas.

VPCP successfully commissioned its manufacturing unit, in 1985, with the introduction for the first time in India, the drug intermediate, 3,4,5-TRIMETHOXY BENZALDEHYDE, used in the manufacture of bulk drug, TRIMETHOPRIM, a staticobacterial. In 1990, VPCP, successfully embarked on an expansion programme for manufacture of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients. After in-house Research & Development, VPCP introduced the active pharmaceutical ingredient BROMHEXINE HYDROCHLORIDE, a mucolytic agent, in 1991, introduced TIMOLOL MALEATE, a beta-adrenoceptor antagonist; anti-glaucoma agent, and in the year 2000 AMBROXOL HYDROCHLORIDE, an enhanced mucolytic agent was introduced.

In keeping with its progressive outlook, VPCP cherishes its successes with a view to increase share in the overseas market, and establishing its place in the ranks of International Pharmaceutical Producers.

VPCP strongly believes in building quality into its products with the help of a well-established R & D laboratory and a well-equipped Quality Control Laboratory, manned by qualified, skilled and committed manpower.

At VPCP, quality assurance transcends the normative requirements. We believe that Good Manufacturing Practices are the sine qua non for building product quality, standards and systems. Quality is a commitment that extends to all levels of manufacture; from the receipt of raw materials, on through the different stages and process of manufacture, documenting, implementing, controlling with checks and counter checks.

QUALITY POLICY
VPCP is committed to develop and manufacture products meeting stringent specifications for quality and purity through continuous improvements in processes and systems by team efforts of our dedicated employees in conformance with current Good Manufacturing Practices and international requirements (ICH Q7 / EU guidelines as published in Volume 4, Part II / Schedule “M” as adopted by FDA, India), to the satisfaction of customers and ourselves.

VPCP has been licensed by the Food and Drugs Control Administration, Gujarat State, for the manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients as stated hereunder. The plant has been awarded cGMP certificate by the licensing authority. Additionally, the company is recipient of Written Confirmation from Central Drugs Standard Control Organization, India< for operations as per EU GMP guidelines.

The company has, also, received Certificate of Suitability for its products BROMHEXINE HYDROCHLORIDE, AMBROXOL HYDROCHLORIDE and TIMOLOL MALEATE from the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicine, Strasbourg.
The company has been inspected and has received attestation from the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicine for its operations on the guidelines of Good Manufacturing Practices, and is also the recipient of EUDRA GMP certification issued by SWISSMEDIC, Switzerland.

Additionally, the company has been inspected by COFEPRIS, Mexico and PMDA, Japan and is recipient of GMP certification and Site Accreditation.

VPCP : PRODUCTION CAPABILITIES
Guided by personnel of a high calibre and expertise and the spirit of team work, VPCP has recorded a significant growth in output. The last decade has seen us emerge as the largest producer of BROMHEXINE HYDROCHLORIDE within India and also the major producer of TIMOLOL MALEATE . With our commitment, we are confident of having a strong market share for AMBROXOL HYDROCHLORIDE. At present VPCP manufactures 3 TPM of BROM?HEXINE HYDROCHLORIDE, 100 kg per month of TIMOLOL MALEATE and 2 TPM of AMBROXOL HYDROCHLORIDE.
To satisfy the burgeoning demand for these products we have installed capacities of 5 TPM of BROMHEXINE HYDROCHLORIDE, 200 kg per month of TIMOLOL MALEATE and 3 TPM of AMBROXOL HYDROCHLORIDE.
Process Capability : Chemistry
